SeaArk Marine: Temporarily Discontinues Accepting New Orders

Military and industrial aluminum boat manufacturer SeaArk Marine, Inc. of Monticello, Arkansas said it will temporarily suspend acceptance of new boat orders until further notice. Due to very sporadic and extremely low (new construction) sales figures for nearly 24 straight months, the company announced that it would begin an overhead reduction plan in an attempt to “ride out” the effects of the current market until substantial improvement in the government & industrial marine sector appeared more apparent. SeaArk Marine, Inc. is not completely shutting down its operations.

SeaArk Delivers Patrol Boat to Maryland DNR

SeaArk Marine, Inc. recently delivered a 36’ Patrol Boat to the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Police in Stevensville, MD. The 3612-V Dauntless Ram Class vessel is an addition to a similar SeaArk Dauntless patrol boat, and multiple Commander Ram Class patrol boats, previously ordered by the DNR Police through the GSA 1122 program. The vessel, Mattawoman, is tasked with patrolling the Chesapeake Bay, Potomac River and surrounding estuaries within the jurisdiction of the Maryland DNR. The Dauntless Class vessel is based on a hull designed by C.

SeaArk Delivers 55-ft UltraJet Pilot Boat to Colombia

SeaArk Marine, Inc. recently delivered Isla Tesoro, a 55-ft Dauntless RAM Pilot boat to the Armada Nacional De Colombia. The vessel is assigned to DIMAR at the Port of Cartagena. The vessel is powered by twin MAN R6-800 diesel engines rated at 800 hp (588 kW) @ 2300 rpm each coupled to twin Ultra Dynamics UltraJet 410 waterjets with JetMaster joystick controls, via a ZF360 reduction gearboxes. During sea trials this pilot boat achieved a top speed of 28.6 knots with a comfortable cruise of 23 knots. The SeaArk Dauntless Class vessel is based on a hull designed by C.

SeaArk’s 27VC Commander RAM Fire/Rescue Boat

SeaArk Marine, Inc. recently completed a 27-ft Commander RAM fire/rescue boat for the Potomac Heights Volunteer Fire Department in Indian Head, Md. The boat is responsible for fire suppression and emergency rescue missions on the Potomac River and surrounding waters. The SeaArk 27-ft Commander RAM is based on a widely proven hull designed by C. SeaArk Boat for Guntersville Fire Department, Ala.

SeaArk Marine, Inc. has delivered a 30-ft Enforcer Series all-welded aluminum fire/rescue boat to the Guntersville, Ala. Fire Department. The boat features a modified vee, constant deadrise hull that produces a smooth, dry and stable ride. These characteristics were given a high priority by the Guntersville Fire Department in order to ensure required fast response times, capability for all-weather fire fighting and maneuvering on-station requirements were met. The boat is tasked for fire/rescue/recovery missions on Lake Guntersville (69,000 acre lake) and the Tennessee River.

SeaArk Delivers Vessel to National Park Service

SeaArk Marine, Inc. has delivered a 42-ft Dauntless Class Vessel to Cumberland Island National Seashore in St. Mary’s, Georgia. The vessel, Loggerhead, is tasked with transporting park rangers, personnel, and light equipment from St. Mary’s to Cumberland Island and jurisdictional waters within the Park Service. The SeaArk 42-ft Dauntless is constructed of all-welded marine grade aluminum. The state of the art design incorporates a two-man pilothouse and a 20-passenger aft crew cabin. All interior spaces are climate controlled for crew and passenger comfort.
