Alfa Laval and Swiss engine designer WinGD have established a joint program in which Alfa Laval will develop the fuel supply system for WinGD methanol engines. Swiss based marine engine technology developer WinGD has expanded its global training network through a partnership with DCS POWER PTE LTD in Singapore to deliver training for optimizing engine performance and preparing crews for the fuels of the future.Located in Singapore, the new training partnership was commemorated on February 22. WinGD, HHI-EMD Ink Deal Focused on 'Sustainable' Engine Tech

WinGD and Hyundai Heavy Industries’ Engine Machinery Division (HHI-EMD) signed a joint development agreement to together develop engine solutions that further reduce GHG emissions from methane while improving engine efficiency and footprint for reduced costs. The technology group Wärtsilä has received marine sector commercial certification for compliance with the EU’s Stage V standards. CSSC Marine Service Co (CMS), the worldwide equipment service subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corp (CSSC), has extended its range of services for WïnGD and RT-Flex two-stroke engines, with the introduction of an injection control unit (ICU) overhaul and testing service. The development marks the first time that OEM-authorized ICU overhaul and testing has been available in China.ICU overhauls are traditionally carried out in two key ports worldwide and often require international shipment of complete ICUs to and from the repair shop at great cost.
