Shanghai Firm Develops CPP for Large Ships

Zhenjiang Jinye Propeller says it has successfully developed Controllable Pitch Propellers (CPP) for the propulsion of large ships.

The manufacturers explain that the blades and the hub are separate and the pitch of the propeller can also be adjusted as required in different sailing conditions. This is new technology which not only can save energy, but also enhance propulsion power.

Zhenjiang Jinye Propeller have been in the propeller industry for over 30 years. Their new factory located in Science Technology Industry Park. JinKou district, Zhenjiang, was founded in 2007, and has an area of  18000 square meters where it continues to concentrate on the research and development of propellers.

The Company says it has been awarded the ISO9001, CCS, ABS, RINA, KR, BV, RS certificates.
